Dawn Scovill
Mainstream, Paranormal, Humor
Dawn Scovill grew up in the foothills of western Washington state in the small, unassuming town of Rochester. Although she's made her home elsewhere since late 1990, her memories of the area are dear and her writing often contains images of the Pacific Northwest.
Throughout her writing career, Dawn has authored numerous articles, essays, and short stories. Her first online publication, PerfectMeeting.com (1998-2002), helped thousands of new and aspiring meeting professionals to "design the perfect meeting." In 2004, her short story "Falling" took First Place in the Writers' Network of South Florida's fiction contest, earning Dawn the right to call herself an award-winning author. Her first novel, Immortal Bonds (paranormal fiction), was released in March 2007 by ArcheBooks Publishing. She currently resides in South Florida with her husband and two children and, when not working on the next book or contributing another Sex Ed tip for South Florida's Closer magazine, she can likely be found diving, fishing, or boating along Florida's Atlantic coast.
