Joe Fraracci was born in Port Colborne, Ontario in 1952 and grew up in that lively, little city. Although prone to seasickness, he financed his education by working for years as a deckhand. He worked on Great Lakes freighters as well as ships on the (gulp) Atlantic Ocean. Joe graduated from the University of Waterloo and also from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. He and his son live in Palm Beach County, Florida, where Joe accidentally voted for Pat Buchanan in the 2000 Presidential election.
